Session Description

As healthcare organizations become more digital and connected, data boundaries blur providing organizations access to a variety of data sets in multiple formats and from multiple sources.

The recent pandemic stressed the need to escape from the constraints of legacy analytics approaches and adopt an automated data science approach to transform healthcare – from predicting the spread of COVID to population and individual-level health analysis and socio-economic influences to deliver personalized, targeted interventions.

This session will introduce an automated data-science approach to reimagine and digitize healthcare. We will outline real-world examples of how this approach can support various use-cases like managing outbreaks more effectively, predicting vaccine effectiveness in overall population, identifying population groups that should be vaccinated on priority, address the drug abuse crisis, assess impact of social determinants of health, and present a framework for how organizations can adopt an automated data-science approach.
