Dr. Suman De, Senior Healthcare Business Consultant, Infosys Public Services
Dr. David Putrino, Director, Telemedicine and Virtual Rehabilitation, Burke Rehabilitation Hospital
Representatives from health systems, technology solution providers, and consumer advocates will discuss their mission and roles as participants in total population management. The discussion will mainly center around patient-focused strategies for clinical and non-clinical care delivery.
Mae Carpenter, Commissioner – Westchester County’s Department of Senior Programs and Services (DSPS)
Mae Carpenter has served as Commissioner since 2001. Prior to this, she served as Director at the County Office for the Aging, the forerunner of DSPS, since 1979. She is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and innovative advocates for seniors in the US and also speaks frequently on issues that older adults face. She spearheads Livable Communities: A Vision for All Ages – Bringing People and Places Together – a DSPS initiative.
Dr. Suman De, Senior Healthcare Business Consultant, Infosys Public Services
Dr. Suman De is a registered clinician and currently leads the regulatory product and solution development at Infosys Public Services. He has been largely involved in strategic consulting projects with various payers and providers in implementing healthcare reform mandates. His personal expertise lies in IT-enabled business solutions for health insurance, hospitals, and managed care organizations.
Dr. David Putrino, Director – Telemedicine and Virtual Rehabilitation
Dr. David Putrino is a physical therapist with a PhD in neuroscience with clinical experience. Presently at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, Dr. Putrino leads the research to design, develop, and deploy a comprehensive telemedicine service. Dr. Putrino and his team aim at using technology to deliver in-house, high intensity therapy to patients at a low cost.
