Cloud Brokerage – Innovative approach to create and manage a unified hybrid cloud environment
April 30, 2013
8 AM EST
Presidential Ballroom, Capital Hilton, Washington, D.C.
JP Balakrishnan, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer – Cloud, Infosys Public Services
Minimal entry barriers have enabled many companies to play an active role as cloud services provider, often providing small but niche services. This makes it difficult for end users to keep track of various cloud providers, thereby paving the way for Cloud Brokers (also called as Cloud Service Brokers). While many established systems integrators and internal government organizations can play this role, there exists an opportunity to bring in uniformity by adopting centralized solutions.
JP will elaborate on this strategy, discuss the pros and cons of this approach, identify necessary components to create an effective solution, and outline optimal engagement and execution model to realize measurable benefits.
JP Balakrishnan - Vice President and Chief Technology Officer – Cloud
JP Balakrishnan ("JP") has spent 23 years in the IT industry, of which 18 years have been with Infosys. As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of cloud technologies, Infosys Public Services, JP leads multiple initiatives in cloud ecosystem integration.
