Americans willing to trade personal data for better health

Health insurers have made health benefits complex and confusing. A new survey from Infosys suggests that Americans will readily give up a surprising amount of personal data in the hope of getting a clearer picture on what their health insurance actually covers.

The survey also points out that Americans are willing to extend data sharing to doctors as long as the trade-offs are better defined.

Infosys gains as subsidiary Infosys Public Services wins CareFirst contract

July 01, 2013

Infosys Public Services signed a new managed services contract with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield to support their IT operations.

The US-based subsidiary of Infosys will provide application development and other support services as part of the three-year contract. During this period, Infosys Public Services will help CareFirst’s IT division create a cost-effective delivery model.
