Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be used within the DMV environment to improve customer service, reduce defects and identify potential fraud or safety issues. AI can contribute to the safety of the roadways by identifying risks before they create threats. AI can include chatbots, resource allocation management tools, coordination between disparate systems and greater situational awareness. AI is the future of computing so it should be incorporated into every jurisdiction’s strategic planning. In this session, we will discuss these scenarios/use-cases in detail and outline potential approaches that jurisdictions can use to adopt AI.
Kannan Rajagopal - Senior Principal and Head of DMV Practice, Infosys Public Services
Kannan is a senior industry principal and leads the motor vehicle and driver licensing practice for Infosys Public Services. Kannan is responsible for North America DMV consulting business operations and services offerings. He also defines the business strategy for the group, enables business development efforts, manages unit operations, leads the PMO Center of Excellence (CoE) practice and large modernization/transformation engagements.
Lisa Sutter - Principal Consultant, Infosys Public Services
Lisa Sutter has over 30 years’ experience implementing and managing large-scale technology programs in the public sector in domains that include transportation, traffic safety and law enforcement. As a leading industry expert in photo enforcement and license plate reader technology, she has been a featured speaker at IACP LEIM and Lifesavers conferences. She worked in the public sector for almost a decade at the District of Columbia’s Department of Motor Vehicle Services and at Metropolitan Police Department’s Homeland Security Bureau and in the private sector for Lockheed Martin. She currently serves as a Principal – Business Consulting for Infosys Public Services, Inc.
