SAP and Oracle are the most common ERP systems used by states. Any change to these systems carries significant potential risk and expense due to the level of customization most states have done to meet their unique requirements. One study estimates that the average SAP client spends approximately US$4 million per year to support system changes, and yet 75 percent of the time the change programs run into issues.
An automated code quality engine that assesses the state’s ERP landscape, and leverages analytics to identify the impact in the system, due to changes made can help manage risks related to their ERP change programs while accelerating implementation time by upto 50 percent and reducing costs by upto 30 percent.
During the roundtable, Infosys Public Services and a state CIO will discuss insights and best practices on accelerating ERP change programs using automation and analytics.
